Nimbuzz, Instant Messenger, Messaging Apps

While the Windows Phone version and Android edition of Nimbuzz have received a number of updates over the past few months, it’s been a couple of months since we’ve seen any substantial changes to the iOS flavor of the popular instant messaging app.

The new version carries the numeric moniker of 3.1.0 and brings a couple of new changes, the most notable of which is the addition of phonebook-based friend suggestions. The app now has the ability to scan your address book contacts and find all your friends and family members who use Nimbuzz. You have the ability to accept these requests or completely ignore them.

IN addition, the new update allows you to chat with your Facebook friends whether they’re online or not, which makes it even easier to stay in contact with friends on the social network without having to be online at the same time.

While the changelog did not list anything specific, we’d imagine that some background tweaks and improvements are also a part of the update, but nothing has been confirmed by Nimbuzz so far. The newest version can be downloaded right now via iTunes.
