Nimbuzz Call and Messaging, NimbuzzOut, Nimbuzz Messenger

LINE isn’t the only WP8 app to get an update today, as sweeping changes have also just been rolled out for Nimbuzz in version 1.1.2.1.

So what exactly is new? A lot. For starters, the new version allows you to get connected automatically to your friends already on Nimbuzz through your address book with phonebook friend suggestions, bringing the app more in-line with the versions on Android and iOS.

Another big addition is phone number-based registration, which was rolled out to give users a “quicker, safer password retrieval” option. In addition, users can now tap on any avatar to enlarge and view any contact’s full profile picture.

Finally, users can now chat with their friends on Facebook whether they’re online or not; the new version of Nimbuzz for Windows Phone allows users to send Push Notifications and offline messages to them directly.

Of course, we must make mention of the overall performance improvements, which include connectivity, design, and speed improvements, as well as a round of spraying for pesky bugs. Ready to download the new Nimbuzz. You can do so via the Windows Phone Store.
