MTX Connect is a global roaming MVNO based out of Luxembourg. The company operates in that country as well as 30 European countries and initially launched its European service on July 4, 2014.
MTX Connect started in 2013 and specializes in 3G-enabled broadband internet access services for travelers serving customers from Europe, North America and Asia. MTX Connect has no single host operator, but instead manages a number of interconnection agreements with European mobile operators.
Unlike most other mobile network operators (MNOs), MTX Connect does not offer additional bundled services along with its mobile broadband internet access. It also does not require customers to invest in new hardware or a data package.
The SIM card itself is free and doesn’t expire. Customers can choose to pay by the day or by the megabyte, at rates comparable to local European carriers.
