Cross platform messaging app Nimbuzz has just announced cross-platform group chats for Android, iPhone, and Symbian in its latest update for all three platforms.
For iPhone, users can now create & join up to 25 different group chats, so if you have a group for your family, one for your friends, and one for co-workers, you can chat with them at the same time without leaving the chat room. Each chat room can have up to 25 participants and all conversations are saved for review at any time. You can also customize your group chat with wallpapers.
The iPhone update also includes the Twitter tab so Nimbuzz users can chat and tweet at the same time. A feedback page has also been added, along with a News from Nimbuzz page for company and app updates.
The Android version also received the aforementioned wallpaper ability in group chats but also received the ability to control how many notifications you want to receive for group chats.
Symbian users will notice Nimbuzz UI and Twitter improvements along with the cross-platform functionality.
If you’ve been having trouble connecting with iPhone, Android, or Symbian, Nimbuzz also says this connectivity has been improved for all three versions, including the app’s clarity for NimbuzzOut VoIP calls, which it hopes will improve the overall experience for users.
The update is now available for download in Google Play, Apple’s App Store and Symbian.
