Naver Corporation has been quite busy adding new features and services to its LINE voice and messaging app, and LINE Play is the latest of these new additions.
LINE Play is the app’s official avatar service, giving the app an even deeper feeling of community and adding a whole new layer of social interaction between users of LINE and their friends. With LINE Play, you can “design your own avatar character, decorate your room and chat together with other users from all over the globe.”
The LINE Play experience is currently only available for iOS and Android devices in their respective app stores. No word yet on if or when the feature will arrive on Microsoft’s Windows Phone OS or Windows 8, but we’ve contacted the company and will keep everyone up to date as new information comes in.
