The Android 4.2.2 update was sighted a number of times in January, but very little of anything official has been heard about the new version. At least until now.
Posters on both Reddit and Android Police say 4.2.2 has been spotted on a number of Nexus devices, including the GSM Galaxy Nexus. The upgrade was then spotted on the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets (as shown in the Marco Duran image above).
As far as the changes the upgrade brings, no substantial changes have been reported. All the new version of Android seems to bring is a number of “performance and stability” improvements thus far, and Bluetooth A2DP improvements for various issues are said to be in the pipeline as well.
