Samsung Galaxy S Duos, Galaxy S III, Android Ice Cream Sandwich

Remember our old friend, the Galaxy S Duos that we first saw last month? Well if you’re looking to score one of these devices for yourself, you won’t have long to wait, as Samsung has announced that the dual-SIM Android devices will be available in Europe starting in September before being “rolled out across other territories.”

The Galaxy S III-like Duos features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a 4-inch WVGA display at 480 x 800 pixels, 4GB of internal storage upgradeable via MicroSD, a 5-megapixel camera, and of course sports the dual-SIM capability that users of Tru SIM are sure to find useful in oh so many ways. The smartphone supports HSDPA, EDGE, and GPRS. An LTE version could also be on the way according to Samsung.

The Duos is aimed at customers who frequently switch SIM cards, either when crossing international borders or when managing work and personal commitments, and includes what Samsung terms “always on” technology, allowing users to take calls using one account without disrupting activities on the other.

Will you be getting the Duos?
