Yesterday, Apple’s Watch was unveiled to the world, and is ready to go head to head with other wearable devices like the Android Wear and Microsoft Band starting late April (for those of you who missed the keynote, you can watch it here).
WeChat was quick to jump on the Apple Watch bandwagon and posted a few expectations for users on the future of the app on the Apple Watch.
As you can see in the screenshots above and below, the Apple Watch version of WeChat includes everything from the messaging you’d expect to WeChat’s Moments feature and the ability to accept friend requests, view nearby users, and more.
As the world heads more and more into the direction of wearable tech, it’s only natural to see our favorite messaging apps go this route as well. No official word yet on other apps making the jump, but suffice it to say, it’s only a matter of time.
WeChat can be downloaded to your iPhone, Android, or Windows Phone using these QR codes.
