Skype for iPhone, Skype iOS, Microsoft VoiP and messaging

If you’ve ever wanted to be a bigger part of the Skype experience, now’s your chance. The team is seeking a limited set of “enthusiastic Skype users” to be part of a new pre-release program for Skype for iOS, a program that was announced today on the company’s blog:

…since we love hearing your feedback, we’re starting a new program to let you tell us what you think, before new versions are even released.

Those interested in applying must be 18 or older and have a valid email address and Skype or Microsoft Account. Those who agree to participate will be subject to non-disclosure agreements.

If you’re ready to be a part of the experience and provide your feedback to the team, you can sign up here.

As for the update to version 5.9 for iPhone, the new version adds UI improvements to the dial pad that makes finding your contacts faster, along with a new chat picker to make conversations easier to start.

The new update can be downloaded using this QR code.
