Microsoft wants to make sure you have access to all of the apps in its fast-growing Windows Phone world, no matter where in your world you happen to be. The company has just released a list of no less than 180 countries where you’ll be able to app yourself to your heart’s content, including the WP Marketplace and the developer hub.
That really is a substantial leap from the 63 markets and 38 app hubs it services consumers with today. Microsoft has emphasized that point with developers, along with the fact that it now has more than 100,000 apps in stock and will soon include an in-app purchasing solution.
As if that weren’t enough, the house that Bill Gates built also added that the marketplace will filter apps by phone screen resolution and “other key characteristics,” allowing easier targeting of users and getting rid of some issues experienced by many users on the Android OS.
