A little over a week ago, we reported on new changes for Android users that brought a few changes for those who are using the beta version of imo.im, which allows imo-goers to experience features and changes before they’re released to the official app. Version 4.2.6 brings these changes (and slips in a few more).
To recap, the new imo.im now allows photos to be stored in one on one conversations and brings larger image previews to all conversations. One of the more notable additions is also the app’s easier sign-in process, which doesn’t require typing a password at all.
Crash fixes and improvements join the aforementioned changes in the official release as well, though as is the case with most minor fixes and improvements, these are not broken down by the developer.
No word yet on when or if iOS users will be getting these changes, but we’d say it’s a pretty good bet. The last major release for Apple devices occurred late last month and added stickers to the app.
