Doodad, Data SIM, International Carrier

Global service provider DOODAD has just launched its services in “beta” in Mexico, Switzerland, Indonesia, and Turkey, where testing is commencing right now. Users in Thailand will also have a chance to test the services when they launch in beta within the next 12 hours, bringing the total number of international destinations under the DOODAD banner to 68.

It’s important to note that these launches are being used as a sort of test bed for a future launch, so if you happen to run into any kinks while taking your DOODAD for a test drive, you’ll want to be sure and notify DOODAD about it so the problem or problems can be fixed in short order. For testing, you’ll even receive a little something in return:

“We invite anyone using DOODAD in those locations to try it out and email us with feedback,” DOODAD CEO Sarah Neill told us. “We’ll give the first person in each market some DOO-DATA.”

DOODAD tells TruTower that it will provide its users up to $20 USD worth of free DOO-DATA for beta testing their roaming service in these countries.

In addition to the new country launches, the company has also cut roaming charges for Canada in half, dropping the country’s rates from 60 cents per MB to 30 cents per MB, making DOODAD an even more attractive option for international roamers planning to visit the region.

Get yourself a DOODAD via DOODAD’s official website if you wish to join the beta testers or if you’re looking for a great way to beat “bill shock“!
