Remember that modern UI update that Skype for Android received a few weeks back? You should; it’s also the same update that had reportedly let slip a way to bypass the Android lock screen completely. Unfortunately, the lock screen issue wasn’t the only thorn in the side for users.
One of the other issues many users have expressed their distaste for is an issue where users had to open up their profile and go through an extra step to access the option to sign out. The feedback was apparently sent by a number of users and the company has responded, issuing an update today that fixes this issue, now allowing users the option of signing out with an option accessible via a Menu key press as well as the navigation option.
This isn’t by any means the only bug the company fixed with the latest rollout. Users were having issues adjusting their status to online if they had set their status to offline. So far, we’re experiencing no issues with this.
In addition, the update also includes language improvements as well as other stability improvements. The new version can be downloaded directly from Google Play. Let us know if you experience any additional issues in the comments.
