Those of you who are utilizing the beta flavor of the imo Messenger app to chat with all your friends via the supported instant messaging services shouldn’t notice any significant changes in the latest update on Android aside from some bug fixes.
However, new users will be required to sign up for the imo service, whether they’re looking to use it outside of their other instant messaging services or not.
This isn’t a bad thing, however. The imo service does provide some unique perks, such as the ability to post photos via the broadcasts feature.
The new update is listed with the version number of 3.4.0 and, as mentioned above, also includes bug fixes, though these were not broken down in detail so are likely very minor performance or force closing bugs.
