Not too long ago, BBM Beta received a significant update that fixed a number of issues, and over the weekend, another update helped fix the app’s slow start up time.
With the new update, BlackBerry revealed that the public launch of the app for Windows Phone is going to take place soon, and could help give it an advantageous reach versus apps that are not yet on the platform such as Tango and Google Hangouts.
The recent update to the beta speeds up the launch time on a fresh install, so you’ll want to uninstall and then reinstall the beta version if you don’t notice a difference in the start up time.
This news comes after new Shaquille O’Neal stickers launched on the messaging platform, and although they’re not yet available on the public version of the Windows Phone app, they’ll likely be coming to the platform very soon.
