Nimbuzz app, Nimbuzz Messenger, NimbuzzOut

Most of us are familiar with Nimbuzz, the mobile messaging app that has seen the birth and deaths of a number of mobile operating systems and yet itself continues to thrive and make major contributions in today’s high-competition messaging environment.

These contributions, specifically to Mobile Marketing, were spotlighted at the Mobile Marketing Association’s SMARTIES 2014, where Nimbuzz was awarded the “Enabling Technology Company of the Year on Mobile.” The SMARTIES awards recognizes contributors to the mobile marketing industry.

The awards prove how vital Nimbuzz has been, particularly in India, to mobile marketing, going against behemoths in the space like WeChat and LINE and still coming out on top in the region.

“The awards are a testimonial of our growing dominance as an advertising platform in India,” Nimbuzz says. “Nimbuzz innovations including Chat Buddies, Splash Screen, Rich Media Solutions and Contextual Banners allow brands to bridge the audience gap. Nimbuzz advertising is focused on building real engagement value for both our partnering brands and users. The platform’s targeting capabilities ensure that a user rarely sees an advertisement that is of little or no significance to him/her.”

Nimbuzz is one of the very few applications you can find just about anywhere. Hats off to the Nimbuzz team for their win.
