XXSIM, International roam, worldwide calling service

It’s July 1, and we know what that means. It’s the day that European Union roaming rates drop across the board. Unsurprisingly, it also means that global carriers are following suit.

Truphone was the first to drop its rates ahead of the curve back in May and now XXSIM has informed us that they’re doing the same as of today.

XXSIM’s new GPRS (data) rates are as follows:

Austria – EUR0.19 instead of EUR0.39
Belgium – EUR0.19 instead of EUR0.39
Bulgaria – EUR0.19 instead of EUR0.39
Croatia – EUR0.19 instead of EUR0.39

The rates for sending SMS inside European countries EUR0.06.

Furthermore, XXSIM has also informed us that customers can activate a Swiss landline number for free, which will allow them to be called at local rates from Switzerland (or even for free with European flat rates to EU landlines). When you’re done traveling, you can also divert your XXSIM phone# to any landline or mobile numbers when you are back to your home country.

You can find more information and obtain an XXSIM on the company’s website.
