Vine, Vine for web, Vine app

We knew Vine profiles were coming soon and now it’s official: Vine has just released full web profiles for all of its users, which mimmicks the mobile counterpart while introducing a new TV mode to encourage more vine viewing on the PC.

Vine had announced plans to create web profiles late last year, and offered reservations for custom URLs ahead of the launch. The new ability to browse full profiles on the web will no doubt make Vine easier to use for many. Before today, only one video could be viewed at a time and you couldn’t view the vine creator’s other work. The other Vine features are also supported on the web, save for actually recording videos via webcam.

The new TV Mode plays a continuous stream of Vines in full screen

The new TV Mode allows you to view a constant stream of your six-second videos, a bit of a departure from Vine’s looping of each 6 second clip one at a time. With this new ability, Vine feels a lot more like Vimeo, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

If you haven’t taken a look already, you’ll want to poke your head into the Vine.co party to see what’s happening.
