Vine, Vine app, Vine for mobile

It’s only been mere hours since Vine launched for Windows Phone and the app has already amassed nearly 600 reviews as of this writing.

Vine has been one of the most hotly anticipated apps for Microsoft‘s OS alongside Instagram, which is also coming soon. Now that Vine is available, Windows Phone users can join their Vine friends from other mobile platforms for the first time.

Vine, Vine app, Vine for Windows PhoneVine is a little more than a year old and has already built up a user base of over 40 million and was also acquired by Twitter. The appeal of sending short 6-second videos across Vine has attracted all types of video messages, from professionals to amateurs.

Windows Phone users can pin Vine members or channels to the start screen

On Windows Phone, users can record videos using both the front and rear cameras and share these videos on Vine as well as to their Twitter followers. Windows Phone users will also, of course, be able to partake in viewing the app’s most popular videos as well as browsing channels. Exclusive to the OS are the ability to pin Vine members or even entire channels to the Start screen.
