We may have already received a hint that BBM was on its way to Windows Phone but the hints and assumptions have not stopped the Windows Phone community from speaking out in favor of BlackBerry Messenger making its arrival on the OS. As of this writing, the number of votes stood at just over 21,000 votes.
This nearly puts BBM in the top 10 most requested features, standing at number 12 and earning itself a mention on BBM creator Gary Klassen’s official Twitter account:

BBM launched on iOS and Android on October 21 and within 24 hours amassed 10 million downloads. This number doubled after only a week, so it’s understandable that Windows Phone users would want to get in on the BBM action as well.
It seems almost a certainly that it will, though, so it’s not necessarily a matter of if but when the messaging app will launch on Microsoft’s OS. With the high demand it’s currently seeing, especially if it keeps getting higher, it’s going to be really hard for the folks at BlackBerry to turn a blind eye to their Live Tile brethren.
