Tango app, Tango for iPhone, iOS social apps

When last we received an update to Tango on our Android devices, the company rolled out its new Fast Chat feature, which enables users to reply quickly to text messages without leaving the app. Meanwhile, the iOS side of the aisle has been a bit quiet, with the last update hitting in mid-July, when Tango launched the ability to make friends nearby. This feature launched on Android in the same day.

Tango’s Social Feed is similar to Facebook’s news feed and imo’s Broadcasts feature

Like the aforementioned “Tango friends nearby” feature, Tango for Apple and Android devices simultaneously received an update today, which adds a new social feed that “brings all of your friends’ photos together in one place.” The feature is similar to Facebook’s news feed or imo.im’s Broadcasts feature.

In addition, the app also now shows your recent Tango calls in chat so you can respond to your friends and family more quickly. It may not be the biggest change, but it’s certainly a nice touch.

Assuming you’re not distracted by all those Tango Games, you can download the latest update here. Let us know in the comments what you think of the new social feed!
