Truphone App, Truphone messaging, Truphone VoIP

A number of Truphone App users were crushed when Truphone decided to remove messaging when it launched its revamped VoIP app last November, but starting with the latest update, messaging is finally coming back, pushing Truphone back up next to the likes of KakaoTalk and WeChat and a number of other competitors in the market.

Needless to say, the return of messaging is arguably the best thing to happen to the Truphone app this year. Users will be able to send and receive messages for free to all of their Truphone contacts and stay in touch no matter where in the world they are.

Currently, the messaging feature is available on iOS only, but we’d be very surprised if the Android version didn’t receive the feature very soon.

The newest update also adds the ability to invite friends and family to join the Truphone fun easier than ever. You can download the new and improved Truphone app directly via iTunes right now. Are you excited about the return of the messaging feature?
