The Samsung Galaxy S 4 won’t be the only new kid on the Samsung block this year. Reports confirm that its smaller iteration, the Galaxy S 4 mini, is indeed coming soon after the larger flagship makes its appearance at the end of April, likely at a date in June and starting in Europe.
The Bloomberg article confirming these reports specifically reads:
The Galaxy S 4 doesn’t come out until late April. It’s fast, has a big, bright screen, and will probably be another huge hit for Samsung, as will the S 4 mini that will go on sale soon after.
The Galaxy S 4 specifications are said to include a bright and sharp 4.3” qHD AMOLED display, an 8 megapixel camera, a quad-core processor, an expandable memory card (micro SD) slot, and will be powered by the newest version of the Android OS, Android 4.2.2. Samsung will also reportedly bring the new Galaxy S 4 mini to market with three different choices for consumers (8GB, 16GB, and 32GB sized models).
Users of both global SIM services and Android calling and instant messaging apps will be able to take advantage of the newer, smaller Galaxy when it is released this summer.
