Samsung, Samsung Smartphones, Galaxy Phones

A recent tweet from Mobile-Review founder Eldar Murtazin has caused quite a stir in the tech world. According to the tweet, the highly-anticipated Galaxy S IV from Samsung may be announced as early as March 14th.

A Samsung exec allegedly told The Korea Times way back in September that the company would launch their next-gen flagship in March. In addition, sources with The Verge who are “familiar with Samsung” have also hinted at the date, so it seems more and more likely that the next Android-powered titan could hit at that time.

Little is known about the device aside from some allegedly leaked specs and rumored release dates, some pointing to April and others pointing to May a la the Galaxy S III. Of course, we may not know for sure when we’ll see the new smartphone until Mobile World Congress rolls around and Samsung makes an official announcement.
