Rebtel logo, Rebtel app for iOS, iPad iPhone iPod calling

Rebtel, the world’s second-largest mobile VoIP provider behind Skype, has just pushed out an update for iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad devices that brings a number of enhancements and improvements to the internet calling application.

The update brings a few menu tweaks that provide easier access to call type settings, along with improved guidance if a call has failed. The usual stability improvements and bug fixes that we’ve come to expect from every new version of any application are also present with the new Rebtel version 2.5 update.

Rebtel has told us they intent to push quality, usability, and design throughout the year, and this latest update, targeting the app’s usability and design, appears to coincide quite well with their efforts. Obviously, this is just the beginning of the year, so we’ll undoubtedly see bigger and better improvements as time goes on.

The new and improved version of Rebtel is now available for download in Apple’s App Store.
