A little over four months since Samsung‘s flagship Galaxy S III device sold 10 million units and a little under two months since it surpassed 20 million, the Android-powered smartphone has reached yet another milestone by surpassing 30 million units worldwide.
The announcement, obtained through Engadget was made by Samsung Poland earlier today on Twitter. The Galaxy S III debuted back in May. In June, Samsung had stated that it had expected the Galaxy S III to hit 10 million units sold in July, a prediction that came true. Now, with three times that many under its belt, it’s clear that Samsung’s Galaxy S III is leading the charge for Android’s dominance in the market.
