Whether you’re a fan of single-SIM or dual-SIM action, you may be pleased to know that Sony’s newest smartphones — the single-SIM Xperia E and the dual-SIM Xperia E Dual — have been seen online and well.
The new phones, a nod at the ever-growing entry-level smartphone market, were seen at the Indonesian Postel site. The listing highlights the Sony Xperia E Dual (C160X codenamed NanHu DS) as a dual-SIM handset. By this we can deduce that the single-SIM Sony Xperia E is the (C150X codenamed NanHu SS).
If you a power user, we probably lost you at “entry-level.” However, if you’re looking for a simple but effective way to tout your Global SIM GSM service alongside your local carrier, or even looking into the many VoIP apps available, these could be your kind of devices.
Both Android Ice Cream Sandwich-powered phones pack a single-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A processor with Adreno 200 graphics in addition to a 320 x 480 pixel display.
Specific carriers and availability have not yet been announced. Stay tuned.
