Two days ago, Tru sent out an e-mail message advising their customers to top up their Tru App and Tru SIM accounts due to some upgrades to their systems.
These upgrades, which Tru says will allow them to offer their customers better service in the future, will be taking place from the 3rd to the 4th, during which time customers will not be able to access the Truphone.com website or top up their accounts.
It is unclear what these upgrades entail exactly, whether it’s changes to the website layout or simply performance upgrades. We were not given specific information when we queried Tru about the upgrades, but they assure us that the website upgrades will improve the customer experience.
