Charge USB Tru

Mobile technology certainly has come a long way, even in recent years. It has integrated itself into our lives. The national borders are beginning to fade thanks in part to global carriers and VoIP and messaging applications, and their no-borders thiking when it comes to mobile service. Really, it’s hard to remember a time when information wasn’t available at our fingertips nearly anywhere and everywhere we go.

But there is one, almost constant problem when you have your device with you everywhere you go, whether it be in your home country or abroad. It’s a problem all mobile phone owners share called a dying battery.

No worries, though. Thanks to the amazing advances in technology, there are options for the constant traveler, the power user, and the person who forgets to charge their device overnight.

1. Bike Generator
Generating adequate power at speeds above 7 mph, this Bike Generator will make use out of your daily commute. The Bike Generator has two USB ports. Most generators only have one. Sure, it takes a bit of time and effort to rig, but the creator has detailed instructions with pictures.

2. Biolite
The middle of nowhere, your backyard, your roof … just about anywhere you can find twigs really is a viable option for using the Biolite, a combination stove and USB charger. The Biolite extends the range of your electronic devices and it’s really quick and easy to boil water or roast a marshmallow. The USB charger is, of course, what we like the most, especially because we’re definitely the weird type of people who take our phones camping with us. Technological survival for the win.

3. MightyMintyBoost
A great on-foot accessory with an additional solar panel makes this a handy friend to have around. While some technical skills and a couple extra parts are required to build it, there’s nothing there that you can’t easily pick up.

4. PlugBug
Traveling with the PlugBug makes things simple. Dealing with a cramped set of plugs and a ton of devices already plugged into the power strip means this USB gadget gets a lot of use.

5. MultiPot Table Lamp and Charger
Last but not least, the MultiPot Table Lamp and Charger, an amazing multitask device that, well, we love. Cork for your gadgets to gently rest on, an alarm clock for your bedside table and of course a USB charger to keep things juiced up. The fact that it doubles as an item of decor makes us giddy. As of this writing, the MultiPot Table Lamp and Charger is no longer available, but if you can find one on eBay or elsewhere, be sure to pick one up.

Hopefully, these five items mentioned on ApartmentTherapy will keep your roaming service running smooth and a bit stylishly too.
